You and up to seven of your friends can experience a memorable quail hunt on the Mountain Top Ranch just outside Meridian Texas. MTR runs a full quail operation offering the best quail hunting experiences during quail hunting season. Our world class bird dogs immerse themselves in the hunt and enthusiastically work at your side. You will arrive around 3:00 pm and settle into the newly built casitas and either tour the ranch or practice shooting clays. Then join in the dining room for a fine dinner prepared by Chef John. Enjoy after dinner drinks by the fire and then off to bed. A light breakfast will be served the next morning and then your group will go hunting. After the hunt, you will enjoy a chef prepared lunch while your birds are cleaned and bagged. You will then depart with fond memories of the ranch, staff, food, and the hunting.

This hunt is on Cahora Bassa Lake in Mozambique. The area is 700,000 acres of free roaming land that borders the lake. Our area is known for some of the largest crocodiles in Africa. This hunt is for one lucky hunter and one non-hunting guest. The hunt will take place on a private 80,000 acre ranch in Andrews County, TX for the 2024/2025 season on mutually agreeable dates. This is a private well managed ranch that is not commercially hunted or leased. This is a 4 day/ 3 night hunt for a mature free range 180-200" mule deer. Meals and lodging will be provided.
